It's hard to believe that she has been in our lives for over 31 days!
I'm still getting used to having her around, but it's certainly more real now.
And just as I'm getting used to having her she's changing!

She had her one month check up today.
In 37 days she has grown to be:
10 lbs 11 oz
22 in long
38 cm head circumference
She's HUGE! She is in the 75 percentile for her age.
- She takes baths in her little tub
She still hates having her hair washed--she screams every time! But she loves feeling the water and is happy when she's clean and dry.
- She is a really calm baby. With a rare exception, she only fusses when she wants something.
- She gave me her first waking smile on Monday morning. I kissed her little cheeks and nose, and she graced me with a smile!
- She's really good at holding her head up while you're holding her. Her whole body falls to the side when she gets tired now rather than her head falling to her chest or backwards (most of the time).
- We call her Claire, Miss Claire, Little Girl, Claire-Bear, and Girly Pearly
- She sighs with each breath while she sleeps. (Cute now, YES! An early sign of snoring? Hopefully not!) At least I know she's breathing!
- She watches me and follows me around when she can hear me talking--she knows her mama! (and her daddy :) )
- She usually sleeps for at least one 5-hour stretch in the night. It's not too bad.
- She is a VIGOROUS eater! Her mouth flaps wildly when she knows food is coming. There is nothing casual about meal-times for her!
- We've started introducing a bottle just so I can have a break occasionally. So far, it's been ok.
- We give her tons of kisses each day.
