It took me forever but I finally finished French braiding Claire's hair this morning! I had LOTS of trouble on the left side. Looks ok now, but I just couldn't pull hair in from the middle nicely! We'll just have to practice more ;-)
She was really patient about me starting over on the same side of her head 10+ times though. It was probably because she was watching her newest favorite show on Netflix, Mickey mouse clubhouse: road rally!
Thanks to a recent trip to Disney world by my mom, Claire now LOVES Minnie and Mickey Mouse. It could be worse! :-)
So stinking cute!! I am so impressed. Sometimes I feel like I'll never be given a daughter just because Hevenly Father knows I could never figure out how to French braid and am, therefore, unworthy of a little girl. :) seriously though, it looks great! And Claire looks so grown up.
ReplyDeleteLisa, I was so proud of myself when i french braided my own hair for the first time 3 yrs ago that I sent a picture of it to my mom. The only experience I had was what I remember feeling my mom do on my head. :) And I don't know what it is about pulling her hair back, but she always looks SO grown up when it's pulled up.
