Merry Christmas!

Hope you all had a fabulous and joy-filled Christmas!

We sure enjoyed our day spent together as a little family.

And just in case you were one of the few who didn't get it, here is our Christmas letter:

We have had a great year here in California! We spent several weekends this summer knocking off California destinations from our bucket list. Some of the things we did include visiting the Redwoods, Monterey Bay, traveling along Highway 1, seeing Old Town Sacramento during Gold Rush Days, and riding the Amtrak. Despite the fun we’ve had, we are happy to say that we will be moving to Utah County, Utah at the end of February next year.

This year the biggest adventure we had has been in raising our little girl, Claire. She is SUCH a joy and we sure do love her! It’s hard to believe that this is already her second Christmas and that she started the year unable to sit or eat solid foods! At 16 months old Claire runs and jumps and is learning to summersault. She loves to read books and figure things out. She loves giving hugs and kisses to her mom and dad. She has 12 teeth—8 in front and 4 molars. She doesn’t speak very well, but she is trying REALLY hard to communicate better.

Peter still loves his job. He has been given more responsibilities this year and has really enjoyed the freedoms that come with small business, namely, building a train layout around his cubicle! See pictures of it here: http://www.digitaltrainlab.com

I spend my days playing with Claire and trying to figure out how to manage a home, raise a smart, healthy, and happy child, and do all my crafts and reading at the same time! I still haven’t figured it out. I still love to bake, sew, create useful and decorative items, edit photos and build digital scrapbooks, read, and watch movies, but I just can’t seem to fit them all in like I used to. This year I managed to start probably, 25 projects and I won’t tell you how many I finished! You can read about some of my adventures in trying to do it all here:   peterandmelanie.blogspot.com

We are so grateful for the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ and hope that you have peace and love this coming year.

We love you all! Thanks for being a part of our lives!

The Liebers: Peter, Melanie, & Claire
